Families & Educators Training Series: A Panel on Adult Life and Possibility

This training series is for families and educators who live in Clark County. Each session will provide important information to help prepare students with disabilities for transition from school to adult life.

Session details: Hear directly from individuals with lived experience, families, and professionals as they share stories and insights about adult life after high school. Discover what’s possible and how to plan for a meaningful future.

Student workshop: Personal Journals and Self-Discovery

  • Guided prompts for self-awareness and reflection
  • Self-advocacy roleplay (practicing asking for help and expressing needs)
  • Building independence checklist (daily living skills assessment)
