Developmental Disabilities Community Supports (formerly DDA)

DDA, now called DDCS (Developmental Disabilities and Community Supports), is a part of Washington State that helps children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities get the support they need to live a safe and full life.

They offer services like in-home help, respite care (so caregivers can get a break), support with daily living, and help finding or keeping a job.

Even if your family doesn’t need services right away, applying and getting approved can make it easier to get help quickly in the future if your child’s needs change.

It’s a good idea to apply early DDCS looks at things like your child’s disability and how it affects their everyday life, not just your family’s income.
